Synthetic Magnesite

Also known as burnt magnesite, synthetic magnesite is produced by chemical processes to obtain high purity magnesium oxide (MgO) products. Synthetic magnesites are used for the production of refractory linings in blast furnaces, steelworks and cement kilns, in glass production, in the chemical industry as catalysts and for the production of magnesium compounds, as well as in environmental technology for waste water treatment.
