Our Product

Dunite

Dunite is an ultramafic igneous rock that consists almost exclusively of olivine. It is named after Dun Mountain in New Zealand, where it was first described. Dunite is of particular interest in geology and industry due to its unique chemical composition and physical properties. Dunite is used as a refractory material in blast furnaces, for the extraction of magnesium, for the production of rock wool, and for CO2 sequestration.
