Qmag
Magnesite is a naturally occurring mineral consisting mainly of magnesium, carbon and oxygen. This mineral is characterized by its white to grey color and crystalline structure. It is an important raw material in various branches of industry and is used in numerous applications. Due to its high temperature resistance up to around 3000°C, magnesite is an important raw material for the production of refractory bricks and masses that are used to line blast furnaces, converters for steel production and other smelting furnaces. Magnesite is available as sintered and fused magnesite.
