The mineral grinding plant Wesel employs 35 people who ensure continuous operation in three shifts around the clock. With a capacity of 40,000 to 60,000 tons per year, the Wesel plant processes a wide variety of raw and recycled materials from all over the world. These can be crushed, dried, sized and ground. We are able to produce all internationally common standard grain sizes or grinding fineness levels. In addition, we offer the option of meeting your own customized requirements in terms of processing and packaging. As a contract processing company offering services to its customers, we work and process for all market participants.

The location of our company near the Rhine port of Wesel – 700 meters as the crow flies and between the A3 and A57 motorways – offers excellent transport links for inland waterway vessels and trucks.
MMW Wesel offers a high storage capacity for raw materials and finished products, which are stored in big bags, paper sacks and silos, on an operating area of 24,000 m². Specifically, this includes storage space for up to 20,000 tons of raw material, a capacity of 8,000 tons for storage in big bags or paper sacks and an additional 1,000 tons of storage capacity spread across 16 silos. These versatile storage options allow for flexible and efficient warehousing to meet the different requirements of our customers.
At the mineral grinding plant Wesel, we process up to 70,000 tons of minerals per year on eight modern processing and drying plants. We guarantee single-variety processing on six plants for mineral products and two explosion-proof plants for minerals at risk of dust explosion. Depending on customer requirements, we offer fineness levels of less than 25 µm up to 500 µm. Our highly flexible screening machines also enable the production of grain sizes between 0-0.2 mm and 8-15 mm in order to meet the diverse requirements of our customers.
The processed products are used in various sectors, including the automotive industry, the refractory industry, the building materials industry, and the chemical, pigment, foundry and steel industries.
We extract raw materials from furnace or production waste, analyze them and look for potential uses for secondary raw materials. In this way, we help to conserve resources, develop new (secondary) raw material sources and thus close cycles. To this end, we analyze your production waste or residues, process pre-sorted minerals that have already been used for you and return the secondary raw materials to your production.
Analyses and certifications provide the necessary security in the international raw materials trade. All materials, both the raw materials and the processed products, are precisely checked on site and at the partner laboratory of the mineral grinding plant Hamm using modern chemical testing facilities. Here on site, we determine the grain distribution as well as the bulk and tamped weight and carry out sieve analyses. At our partner laboratory, we also offer X-ray fluorescence analysis (XRF) for the qualitative and quantitative determination of the elemental composition of a sample. This is supplemented by particle size analysis using laser diffraction to determine important key figures such as D10, D50, D90 and the specific surface area. These comprehensive test methods guarantee the consistently high quality and reliability of our products.
The MMW Wesel offers a high degree of flexibility when it comes to packaging and transportation. Our regrind can be filled loose directly into silo trucks or packed in paper sacks or big bags for transportation.
