Our Mission Statement.

Raw materials are finite, not always available, and difficult to extract and transport sustainably. In addition, there are disruptions due to globalization, technological issues and political decisions. These factors significantly alter the conditions that apply to the supply of raw materials and frequently confront our customers with new challenges. CREMER ERZKONTOR faces up to these change processes by developing future scenarios that enable our customers to pursue new paths.

The history of CREMER ERZKONTOR.

Our company was founded in 1915 as Nordisches Erzkontor GmbH in Lübeck and quickly developed into one of the leading ore suppliers in Europe. In the 1990s, CREMER ERZKONTOR expanded its activities in China and took over Mineralmahlwerk C. Welsch GmbH, further developing its international presence and processing capacities. Since the complete takeover by Peter Cremer Holding GmbH & Co. KG (CREMER) in 2014, we have continued to develop dynamically. In 2020, we acquired a majority stake in Mineralmahlwerk Hamm and founded the subsidiary “pektogram” in 2021. The change of name to CREMER ERZKONTOR and the development of the “Beyond Trading” claim in 2023 marked our transformation from a pure raw materials supplier to a “holistic raw materials manager”, underscoring our strategy of diversification and verticalization. This development was further consolidated by the opening of a representative office in India, the acquisition of HAG Handels- und Aufbereitungsgesellschaft in Hamm in 2023 and the founding of Peter Skinner Minerals Ltd. UK in 2024.
